Go ahead and put in some vinegar while you are at it. Give me a call in a year or so and I will come in and resand your floors.

This is not the way to clean a poly urethaned hardwood floor……You will have adhesion problems when you try to recoat that floor…Murphy’s Oil Soap is about the worst thing you can use

You do not want to use Murphy’s oil on a recently finished floor. Cuo of vinegar to a gallon of water. Spray a microfiber mop with the mixture and lift the dust off. If you want it shinier, choose a semi- gloss. Oil based soaps will make the finish more difficult to recoat when you hire the floor finishers back.

I wouldn’t recommend using oil soap on that floor. The ONLY thing you should be using is plain water or water mixed with alcohol. Then you must dry it by hand, do not ever leave a wood floor damp. The oil soap will leave a residue that will build up over time causing dirt to stick to the floor until you eventually will have to strip the floor and refinish it.
