I would rate ‘No stars’ if I could but website forces a rating of at least 1 star. I don’t know who some of these people are that write how ‘fantastic’ this product is. After reading the manual CAREFULLY, three times, water just pours out of the bottom of the machine. Thank goodness I had the machine sitting on ceramic tile – it would have ruined my carpets. No question. I checked on the Hoover website for more information/troubleshooting and was a little upset to discover that Hoover doesn’t even sell this model on their own website. But then I figured Hoover pulled the product – because it is that bad.

Haven’t had a chance to use this, but have seen it being used by a relative. But the delivery was amazing. I ordered it and it was delivered so much quicker than I expected. Got to love Amazon and their companies.

I bought my Hoover last fall. I have used it maybe six times. The last time I used it, the machine started leaking oil all over my carpet and and tile. The few times I used it, it had great suction and it cleaned beautifully. I called Amazon and they won’t replace it although it’s under warranty. I’m going to try a local serviceman and hopefully they’ll stand behind the product. It’s very disappointing to buy a machine that will last less than one year!

The product works well. It didn’t come with the bare floor protector as it claimed.

Machine worked well on my off-white carpet. Doesn’t perform miracles, but I was able to put off buying new carpet. Machine works well if you use slow strokes and make a couple of dry runs to pick up more water. The only annoying issue was the frequency of water changes and refills, but that is normal for all machines of this type.
