You must run the floor on the steps along the long dimension. Not only is it easier to install, is much stronger. This also makes it easier to install the nosing. If you have to run out wide, the tongue and the use of the slot, and a fellow of the pieces. One caveat, however, you will have a lot of waste. Hope this helps. EDIT: If possible, take a line on the floor and cut the pieces exactly to the line. Then you can butt the nosing to the tables on the floor. It would be better if you can run the pieces through a router or table saw to get a tongue and groove of them, though, or use a piece of browse is slightly thicker than the floor and cup the back to cover the ends of meetings. Good luck.

You put a regular piece of hardwood timber and perpendicular to parallel to the nosing is. Setting this piece back to the nosing will join that room. Now you may need to get a spline or piece so they all tie together. . Some ads of construction with the nosing along w / some nails top (padding top) is suggested. Do not forget to cut you over sub floor flush left behind w / elevator. In this way, can eavesdrop on your hand and you won a danger of travel in one step. . Any questions email me
