I Bought A Hoover Floormate To Clean My Hardwood Floor– Does The H20 I’ll Add To The Cleaner Hurt The Floor?

If I shouldn't be putting any water on my hardwood floor - is it really safe to be using the "Floor to Floor" cleaner that Hoover provides since it requires I 'add water' to the solution??
