You will have to fix what the cause of the uneven terrain compensation or hardwood.   You can use 1 / 4 &quot;plywood and / or covered with layers of 15lb.   to the shim. You may have to use more nails into the low spots to make sure that penetrate the soil.   This is what my friend who runs a shop floor told me when I did my floors.</description>
